Conference programme finalised for VetCon 201901 Feb 2019
Across both days of VetCon 2019 on the 16th and 17th May, there is an exciting conference programme available for all delegates.
Small animal vets and nurses on Thursday begin their day with breakfast while beginning to explore the conference exhibition. Lectures then commence for the advanced and standard nursing streams as well as the small animal veterinary stream. There will be a short lecture format throughout the day and ample break and lunch times allowing delegates to stay focussed and engaged with lecture content as well as providing opportunity to network at the exhibition and enjoy the atmosphere, refreshments and surroundings.
Thursday night is VetCon party night at the Clubhouse at Fota Island Resort. There will be a barbeque to enjoy with friends and colleagues and live music, provided by Cork band King K on the night. A large attendance is expected at the party so be sure to register for your party wristband when booking your conference ticket.
For the early risers on Friday morning, the #VetFit fitness session begins at 7.15am. Followed by breakfast, this will be a refreshing start to the second day of VetCon 2019.
Delegates can choose to attend any of the three streams available on Friday. The programmes for the business stream, small animal stream, and farm animal stream contain lectures and speakers that will stimulate and appeal to all life and career stages in veterinary practice. Expert-led panel discussions will feature in each stream that will encourage audience participation and opinion from the wider veterinary industry. Again, throughout the day, the lecture and break schedule provides wonderful opportunity to savour the conference surroundings at Fota Island Resort and the energy of the VetCon trade exhibition.
Delegates can also look forward to listening to speakers from VetCon 2019 gold partners Boehringer-Ingelheim, MSD Animal Health, and Zoetis, and silver partners Bayer Animal Health and IDEXX across both days.
