28th & 29th April 2022

Fota Island Resort, Cork, Ireland

It’s VetCon Week!

At last - it's time to meet in-person for VetCon 2022! This Thursday and Friday sees the largest gathering of Irish veterinary professionals in one place since VetCon 2019. There's also 60 exhibitors coming to VetCon from across Ireland, the UK and Europe for Ireland's largest veterinary trade exhibition.

In the clinical lecture streams there are 18 speakers who are coming to Cork from the US, UK, Qatar and across Ireland. These national and international speakers are all renowned veterinary experts. For attending lectures, delegates will earn 8 CVE credits on each day of the conference.

Small group practical focus sessions will be hosted by some of the expert speakers. Delegates will earn an additional 2 CVE credits for attending these unique, hands-on tutorials. Sign-up here for a focus session.

If you can't make it to VetCon in-person, then you can purchase a virtual delegate ticket. You can watch the VetCon lectures as they happen from the comfort of your own home and earn 16 CVE credits

Why not have your say on the future of veterinary practice in Ireland at the VetCon Debate on  Thursday? This landmark debate for the veterinary profession will be chaired by entrepreneur and broadcaster Ivan Yates. On the panel before Ivan will be Dean of UCD Vet School Professor Michael Doherty, VCI President Vivienne Duggan, and Veterinary Ireland President Joe Collins. Audience participation is encouraged as we try to find solutions to the challenges faced by the profession.

Join Karl Henry, Ireland's most recognised personal trainer, for lectures on each day, and take part in the indoor cycling challenge in aid of the Irish Veterinary Benevolent Fund.

There's so much to look forward to at VetCon this week - register now!
