VetCon will take place on the 28th and 29th April 2022 at Fota Island Resort, Cork, Ireland. Vets and vet nurses have two exciting days of world-class CPD to look forward to at Ireland's largest in-person veterinary conference and exhibition.
If you are a veterinary nurse, there will be speakers from Ireland, the UK and the US travelling to deliver two full days of nursing and advanced nursing lectures. Topics include anaesthesia, analgesia, animal behaviour, critical care, nutrition, equine surgery and farm animal medicine.
For small animal veterinary surgeons at VetCon there will be a full day of small animal medicine CPD and a full day of small animal surgery CPD. Specialists from Ireland, UK and Europe will come to Ireland to discuss some of the latest conditions, diagnostics, and treatment options available for small animal patients.
Farm vets, equine vets and mixed practice vets can look forward to cutting-edge large animal CPD from veterinary specialists, researchers and experienced practitioners in a wide variety of large animal topics.
Focus Sessions at VetCon will be open to vets and vet nurses who are looking for a more advanced and challenging CPD experience. These small group, practical sessions, in small animal and equine medicine and surgery, will be hosted by the specialists speaking at VetCon. Topics will include cardiology, anaesthesia, analgesia, critical care, equine oncology and equine surgery.
You can raise funds for the Irish Veterinary Benevolent Fund (IVBF) at VetCon. Take part in the indoor sports challenge and encourage your friends and colleagues to join in the fun.
VetCon will host 'The Great Veterinary Debate' at VetCon 2022. Come and join the discussion and engage with the panelists on how to find solutions to make the veterinary profession a thriving, fulfilling and positive career choice for veterinary graduates.
